Family Kayak Nature Exploration
Times vary - check the calendar
August 17, 26

--------This trip is great for families. There is no long distance paddling, so it is good for little ones. Ever wonder what the tide brings in from the ocean? Well, let's find out. Sharks teeth, shells, crabs, bring your collecting bags. At low tide many sandbars are exposed leaving islands with tidal pools. Sometime marine life will get caught in them as the tide goes out. So we never know what we will find or where we will explore. This trip focuses on learning through experience while having fun and being safe on the water. This can also be a wonderful family team building experience. Fee $60 adult, $55 children

Overnight kayak trip to Cumberland Island
October 1-3

--------Join us on our excursion to amazing Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is a three day, two night kayaking camping trip. As one of the largest maritime forests in the US, and one of the largest undeveloped barrier islands in the world, the natural environment of Cumberland is incredible. Exploring the island is like stepping back in time. With the islands rich history and amazing natural features, this is one trip you will never forget.
--------We start out on the first day in the kayaks exploring the southern tip of the island. After paddling for most of the morning, we set up camp at Sea Camp. That night your guides will cook a meal for you that will definitely raise the bar for camping food. The next morning after another tasty meal, we walk south to tour the Icehouse Museum, the ruins of Dungeness Mansion, and the many other historic buildings still standing from the island's heyday. This is a gentle 5 mile walking tour that ends back at Sea Camp where lunch is waiting. The rest of the day is your own to explore the island as you want. That evening your guides raise the bar again with another scrumptious meal. On day three, we have another great breakfast and start breaking camp. After loading our boats back up we head south again, to the worst part of the trip, back to our cars and civilization. 3 day / 2 night $395pp
(If these dates don't work for you......this trip can be scheduled almost any weekday in Fall or Winter, minimum 4 paddlers)
